Recipe: Nutella Hot Chocolate

You may not believe me, but it does get cold, even here in Southern California. I tweeted that I wanted some Nutella Hot Chocolate. People asked me for the recipe, and I replied that I was still in my head. So from my head to this blog, here you go.

Nutella  happens to be my husband’s favorite condiment. Lucky for me, there was still a whole jar left, what a miracle.

So I whisked some nutella and a little bit of cocoa powder, because I can’t get enough chocolate, into a cup of milk.

And I ended up with this tasty beauty. Chocolatey with just a hint of hazelnut in a warm mug of milk. I’m quite proud of what I accomplished, especially since this recipe came right from my head!

Nutella Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp nutella or hazelnut spread
  • 1 tsp cocoa powder

Cooking Directions

  1. Heat a saucepan over medium.
  2. Add one cup of milk.
  3. Whisk in nutella and cocoa powder.
  4. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Enjoy

      Yum, I love nutella. I am jealous your hubby loves it, my bf hates it so I always end up eating the whole jar myself…
