Yogurt bars are everywhere. Those self self serve choices either become routine, or perhaps something creative. That’s what happened during Manhattan Beach’s Yogurtland’s Flavorology competition on Monday night. Over 2500 participants were narrowed down to 12, three from each South Bay Yogurtland location.
Judges Chef Anne Conness of Tin Roof Bistro
and Aimee Mizrahi of Aimee’s Bistro
were on hand to determine the winner.
Each finalists’ recipe was displayed above the self serve bar. Perhaps the guests would try one of these, or maybe be inspired to make their own creation.
In the end, Brent Andersen’s Da Flyin Hawaiian, made with mango, taro, coconut, guava pineapple, mango, lychee, mochi, pineapple, shaved coconut and condensed milk won the grand prize of $250 gift card to Yogurtland, and ten $10 gift cards to share with friends.
Will you make a new concoction next time you visit Yogurtland? Who knows? You could be the next winner of $250 in yogurt. With us being in the sunshine state, anytime is good for this tasty treat.
