Is there more to olive oil besides cooking? Find out on Sunday, May 1st at 2pm as  the doors open to the South Bay’s first Olive Oil tasting featuring Carol Firenze, author of  The Passionate Olive – 101 Things to Do With Olive Oil and find out what else you can do with this popular condiment.

The event will be held at The Ayres Hotel at 14400 Hindry Avenue, Hawthorne. The $60 tickets include the olive oil tastings, tapas prepared by Chefs Sherie and John DiBernardo and their staff at the Matisse Restaurant, and non-alcoholic beverages. A full bar is available.
