I just finished skating but had about 3 hours to kill until my next appointment. What to do? Why, head over to the beach cities & enjoy the scenery of course.
Before any of that, I needed to get some blogging done & I didn’t want to go to Starbucks, I wanted something different. Enter The Tea Exchange in Manhattan Beach. It’s just a block from the beach and it truly shows in its bright walls that bring in even more sunlight & its pastel furniture again evoking the beach vibe.
The menu is filled with, not surprisingly, a wide assortment of hot & iced teas. Yes they serve coffee & pastries too but I decided to get their namesake.

I enjoyed my mango flavored black tea down to the very last drop as pop music wafted through the stereo and I did some people watching while taking breaks from blogging.
The store was kept clean and the staff was friendly with each patron that walked in the door. I really appreciated how cozy this little tea shop was in small yet bustling Manhattan Beach. There’s even a small selection of tea both bagged & loose available for sale along with tea pots & other accessories.
The Tea Exchange is a nice breather from the large chain coffee houses. For a little variety, and a little change, stop on by. You won’t regret it!
