Here’s a quick & easy sandwich inspired by the sweet flavors of the islands.
Ingredients
2 Sandwich rolls
1 lb ground pork
8oz caribbean style marinade
4 cloves garlic
1/4 cup diced onion
2 slices swiss cheese each
2 slices ham each
Method
Put the ground pork in a medium size bowl. Pour the marinade and mix well. Cover and marinade in the fridge for 30 mins.
In a medium skillet, saute garlic and onion for a minute.
Lower the heat to medium and add the meat, Cook thoroughly, about 10-12 mins. Drain
Arrange pieces of cheese and ham on the sandwich bun.
Put the ground pork on top of the ham and cheese. Put sandwich tops on.
Serve immediately.
